DETAILS
Painting holidays in the Costa de la Luz currently take place four times during the year. There will be two sessions in the Spring, and two in the Autumn.
The first session for 2010 is over the Easter break and begins on Sunday 4th April and ends on Saturday 10th April.
The second session begins on Sunday 11th April and ends on Saturday 17th April.
Each session lasts for six days. Participants join us on the Sunday and depart on the following Saturday.
The Autumn sessions have yet to be agreed with the tutor, but are likely to be towards the end of September/early October 2010.
COSTS
There are 4 fee bands, depending on type of accommodation and/or the inclusion of non-painting partners.
The standard rate is based on two people sharing independent accommodation as detailed on the accommodation page, and includes the following:
All bed linen, towels and electricity
A welcome pack of tea, coffee, bread, butter, milk, jam, and mineral water.
- Morning coffee and afternoon tea
Lunch each day other than during the trip to Seville and on the days of arrival and departure.
Dinner each evening.
Transfers to and from Faro airport
Excluded:
Flights
Lunch on day of arrival and departure
Additional activities such as golf, additional excursions or boat trips
Alcoholic beverages during visits to local restaurants.
£760 full participation rate
£499 non-painting partners - (accommodation, meals and Seville excursion)
£580 non-residents (tuition, lunch, evening meal and Seville excursion)
For participants requiring individual private accommodation there will be a supplement of £200
Transfers for late arrivals can be arranged at an approximate cost of 60 euros each way from Faro airport, or 130 euros each way from Seville, based on up to 4 people sharing.
Alternately you may wish to arrange your own transfers for about 20 euros through Ezzetravel or Transfers Huelva (see links page for details). Transfers Huelva takes over two hours to reach us, but on the other hand, gives you a very scenic tour of the little fishing villages on the Portuguese Algarve between Faro and the Spanish border.
